A goals model for the 2026 World Cup, fit on 200 real matches from that year. For every knockout tie it prices six markets, simulates the bracket all the way to a champion, and then grades its own call once the game is played.

A bootstrap regression that predicts how many passes a Liverpool player completes in a match. I tested it two ways: against four real betting lines, and against the end of a season it had never seen. I plan to run it again over the 2026-27 season.

A five-person academic team build of L-Store, the lineage-based storage architecture from Prof. Mohammad Sadoghi's research: columnar base and tail pages, B+ tree indexing, a buffer pool, a full query layer, and two-phase-locking concurrency control, built from scratch over a 10-week quarter.

Five of us studied how crime rates track home prices across Connecticut towns. Each additional burglary in a town lined up with roughly a $1,300 drop in property value.

Most expected-goals models treat a shot as a flat point on the pitch. I'm building one that keeps the height of the ball, the body part that struck it, and where the defenders actually stood, then checks whether that extra detail predicts goals any better.

Almost every soccer statistic describes the player on the ball. This one measures the other ten. Working from broadcast tracking of Germany's 1-2 loss to Japan at the 2022 World Cup, it finds every moment a player breaks into a run without the ball and scores it on the space won and the danger created. A first-pass classifier sorts each run by shape; that part is still being validated.
